A Mexican Riviera cruise is the strongest Mexico and Pacific Coast choice when the trip needs several distinct Mexico port days. Cabo, Mazatlán and Puerto Vallarta do not repeat the same job: Cabo is tender and marine-led, Mazatlán has working-port access and historic-city value, and Puerto Vallarta adds a larger bay, food, coast and nature choices.
This route usually asks for more sea distance than a short Baja sailing. That tradeoff is worthwhile when the traveler wants a full vacation rhythm and enough port variety to justify the week.
