CruiseGuide is built to help travelers make practical decisions, not to maximize article volume.

Editorial responsibility

M.K. Hsu, founder and travel editor, is the named editor responsible for CruiseGuide's public guidance. Horizon Travel Guide remains the editorial organization behind the publication.

Source priority

For policies and time-sensitive facts, we prioritize cruise-line official sources, port authorities, government immigration and customs agencies, tourism boards and other primary sources.

Dates and evidence labels

Last updated records the latest substantive editorial revision. Sources verified records when the cited, time-sensitive sources were checked. A missing source-verification label is not replaced with an editorial date. Readers are directed to confirm information with the relevant official source when a policy may have changed.

Firsthand experience

We do not label information as firsthand unless it genuinely comes from a documented trip, test or observation. A named author does not imply that every destination has been personally visited. Source-based destination research remains clearly separate from personal travel notes.

Commercial relationships

Affiliate relationships do not determine factual conclusions. Commercial links are placed where they are useful to a traveler making a related decision.
